William Ward Barton, MD, FACP, FCCP, received his BA from Columbia University in 1984 and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in 1989. A medical internship and medical residency was served in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital (1989 – 1992). A fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine was completed at the University Of Michigan School Of Medicine in 1995. In 1995, Dr. Barton joined the Princeton Medical Group. He is currently an attending physician at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.
Dr. Barton is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care.
He has been the recipient of numerous awards in medicine and has several scholarly publications.
He is a member of the Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Barton is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, and a member of the American Thoracic Society and American College of Physicians.
